Join a live panel discussion based on The Wallace Foundation’s five key practices for school leaders on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. ET. Panelists will discuss the values, beliefs, and personal dimensions they bring to their role as building administrators to meet the specific needs of their school. The behaviors that make a principal successful as they drive student learning—including resilience, self-confidence, self-analysis, flexibility, mindfulness, and more—will be explored.
The United States Senate Youth Program (USSYP) allows 104 chosen students from around the country to join a weeklong intensive educational program in Washington, D.C., where they will meet with the president and many other national leaders. USSYP provides for all expenses, including travel and accommodations, as well as a $5,000 undergraduate college scholarship for each student. Visit www.ussenateyouth.org to learn how to nominate an exceptional high school junior or senior at your school.
Since 1921, NASSP has been committed to the ongoing development of student leaders through its NHS, NJHS, NEHS and NASC student programs.
