NASSP Supports Legislation to Improve NCLB

The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) is up for reauthorization in 2007, and members of Congress have already introduced a number of bills intended to improve the law. NASSP supports the following bills that are aligned with the NCLB Legislative Recommendations developed by our NCLB Task Force in June 2005. Although it is unlikely that any of these bills will be acted on before Congress adjourns for the year, we encourage legislators to reintroduce these bills during the 110th Congress.
