Mobile Learning Institute
NASSP is proud to present the Mobile Learning Institute, a daylong, hands-on learning experience designed to introduce school leaders to the potential of using cell phones and other mobile devices in instruction. The Institute will take place March 11, 2010, the day before the opening of the 2010 NASSP Convention in Phoenix, AZ.
Sessions will be presented by a mix of experts and school leaders who have successfully implemented mobile devices in instruction. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities and instructional simulations, and hear and examine case studies of schools that use mobile technologies to advance learning.
With support by the Pearson Foundation and Nokia, there is no charge to attend the Institute, but attendees will be responsible for their own travel expenses. As a bonus to NASSP members who are registered to attend the 2010 NASSP Convention, the Institute will pick up the cost of an additional night’s lodging.
All principals and assistant principals who are NASSP members are invited to apply for the Mobile Learning Institute. Participants will be selected based on their interest in and history with technology initiatives in their schools. Complete the application and forward it to:
